About Me

Hey - it's Mark!I'm actually a native San Diegan. I live in the Sabre Springs area. I'm an executive recruiter for the pharmaceutical industry & play drums for "BRIEGADE". You can check us out at www.briegade.com & hear a sample of all of our songs off our debut cd "Charge of the Light" which was officially released in August 2006. I'm very much into music - especially alternative & classic rock, but I prefer PLAYING the music. I'm also big on photography, road trips, foot trips, movies, or just quiet evenings @ home. I don't hit the bars & clubs as much as I used to, but when I do, it's usually to see live music or better yet - PLAY live music.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4haha!! _

My Interests

music (both listening & playing), weather, chasing storms, long drives, long walks, movies in the theater, movies @ home, playing my own concerts, going to concerts, dining out, spending quiet evenings @ home, taking lots of pictures, spending time w/ my family, vacations

I'd like to meet:

Hosted by Sparkle TagsJesus Christ, people that support Briegade's music, booking agents for Briegade, & other positive people!

Music:

www.briegade.com ; www.myspace.com/briegademusic ; www.battleofthebands.com/briegade ; The Classic British bands of the 1960s - (American bands can't touch these guys: THE WHO - followed closely by PINK FLOYD, THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES), ELTON JOHN - especially in the 1st 1/2 of the '70s was amazing. Any band ERIC CLAPTON was in, or any of his solo stuff is pure genius. In the late '70s-early '80s, THE POLICE were the best band out there, but my all time favorite is Canada's RUSH. For over 30 years, they've been amazing! I'm a '90s grunge junkie (ALICE IN CHAINS, SOUNDGARDEN, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, NIRVANA, PEARL JAM's 1st 3 CDs). PETER GABRIEL - especially in concert - is a spectacle. 'Course I can't forget METALLICA - & what do you get when you marry Metallica & Alice in Chains??? Movies:

practically any genre - but my faves in chronological order are... The Wizard of Oz, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Somewhere in Time, Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET: The Extra Terrestrial, Poltergeist, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ghost, The Shawshank Redemption, Independence Day, Titanic, Office Space, The Sixth Sense, Bicentennial Man, Boiler Room, AI: Artificial Intelligence

Television:

I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I do, it's Padres / Charger games, The Weather Channel, VH1 classic, National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, The History Channel, any channel that a good movie is showing

Books:

too numerous to mention - but mostly the King James Version Bible, reference, music related, books about the unexplained

Heroes:

I’m More Embarrased For San Diego Now More Than Ever

The Padres could've won ONE game out of the last 3 to insure a place in the playoffs. But no, they fought a good fight, but Trevor Hoffman - our "closer", blew it in the 13th inning. And then the Char...

Yeah, Padres!

I've been a Padres fan since 1975, & have been really enjoying the Padres winning ways lately. The Padres have baseball's best pitching staff, but the National League's worst batting average. The ...
