About Me

I'm Filipino and I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, USA and I still live here up to this day. I have severe strong pride for being a Filipino. I The background you see was a shot taken in Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines during the summer of 2004. I used a Kodak CX6330 3MP digicam to take this picture and wow is it a beauty!

I manage 313 Filipinos , a myspace group for all the Detroit Metro Area Flipz. We seriously need to represent! I was pretty disappointed when I tried a search for a similiar group and none existed. It does now! hehe. Anyone can join, you don't have to be from Detroit. It's open to any and everyone out there! Please join! =)I also use livejournal for weblogging. Please check it out! Here are all my websites that I manage or that I used to manage and it's now abandoned. My Dance Dance Revolution Site

Music:

Trance, Techno, Alternative, some rap........ pretty much anything that gets my groove going. hehe

Movies:

I pretty much watch any action, sci-fi, comedy, and some horror movies. Others not listed here are prolly the ones I can't think of right now. =DSome of my all time favorites are:

• Starwars
• Braveheart
• Pirates Of The Caribbean
(Arrrrrrrrrgh, matey! =P)
• Gladiator
• Armageddon (I cried in this one.. LOL)
• Saving Private Ryan
• Thin Red Line
• Windtalkers
• Lord of the Rings
• Lion King (One of my all time favorite "cartoon" movies. hehe)
• Toy Story 1 and 2

I can't think of any else right now. lol

Television:

Simpsons, Friends, Fear Factor, Weakest Link, Who wants to be a Millionaire, anything relating to sports
I have more but I can't remember right now.

Books:

Books/novels related on history. My favorite "history books" are books based on World War II, especially in the Pacific Theatre, much because the Philippines was a part of that war.
My number 1 novel will always be: "Death March: The Survivors of Bataan" by Donald Knox. I was very emotionally sadden and haunted by survivors' stories of the hellish Bataan Death March. I give this a 5 star rating out of 5. Best book explaining the horrific moments of those 3 years. My Grandfather was POW in the Philippines for 3 years. He managed to survive the Death March. If it wasn't for him, I would not be here today. He died in September of 2001 while living in the Philippines.I love you Grandpa..... Another novel that has severe influence on me is: "America Attacked: Terrorists Declare War on America"I had a cousin Maria Theresa Santillan who was a wonderful person. She was on her way to living life up to the maximum when terrorists took her life away. She was at work at the World Trade Center on the 103rd floor of the north tower when the plane struck. She was able to phone call from her office to her father at home in Parsippany, New Jersey. She said that a plane struck the building and that she didn't know what to do. Her father said to evacuate right away and she replied "Okay, Okay! I gotta go! I gotta go!" Those were the very last words he would hear from her......In Loving Memory of Maria Theresa Santillan Remembered in love 9 - 11 - 01 You will never be forgotten.
I love you very very much.......

YOU are my hero! ;-)
