About Me

Hello, my name is Richard, and I was born on September 13, 1939. I am 7'2", and the last time I checked (to my horror) I weighed 330 pounds! I am a professional actor, and if you're a James Bond film nut you're sure to recognize me. I also appeared in numerous other films (go to my official website at www.richardkiel.com to see my filmography as well as info about me, plus you can purchase autographed pictures and books!) and television shows. I was rated the most popular James Bond villian, which meant a lot to me as I loved playing Jaws in those films. Unfortunately, the life of an actor is rather busy, so if I can't get back to you right away, then be patient and I or my lovely wife will answer your fanmail asap. Thanks!

My Interests

Well, besides acting, I am unofficially the biggest James Bond nut there is! I know almost everything about the series, and not only am I friends with almost everyone that's been involved in a 007 film, I married one! I am also interested in Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, the Matrix movies, and of course the Pistons because they're my team! GO PISTONS!

I'd like to meet:

While I've met almost everyone I've ever wanted to, my true ambition is to meet someone as tall as I am! Just kidding; I wish I could've met Princess Diana because she did so much for the world.

Music:

I love all the theme music from the 007 movies, as well as classical, classic rock, and country.

Movies:

All the James Bond films, as well as my favorite movie I ever did besides the Bonds, Happy Gilmore. I also love the Lord of the Rings, the Star Trek and Star Wars movies, the Lethal Weapons, and Jaws (:D)

Television:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Idol, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Friends, and CSI.

Books:

The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit, any Stephen King novels, the James Bond novels, in particular Live and Let Die, and The Di Vinci Code

Heroes:

My mother, who was always there for me, and my wife, who supported me through all the struggles and without whom I'd never had made it to where I am today.
