Moon Bloodgood plays long-lost fiancée Livia in NBC's new time-traveling drama "Journeyman."
Bloodgood is quickly becoming known for her work in film and television. She recently starred in "Daybreak" opposite Taye Diggs. Next, she played an ambitious development executive in Barry Levinson's feature-film "What Just Happened?" starring Robert DeNiro, and a native warrior princess in the Viking fantasy film "Pathfinder" for director Marcus Nispel. Bloodgood is also featured in the upcoming independent film "Moonlight Serenade" opposite Amy Adams, and she recently starred the Disney feature "Eight Below" opposite Paul Walker and Jason Biggs for director Frank Marshall.
Bloodgood was featured in People Magazine's "World's Most Beautiful" issue for 2006. She has also been featured in In Style, Complex, Self, Glamour, and Flaunt magazines.
Bloodgood started her career as a professional dancer. At a very young age, she landed a coveted spot to join the Los Angeles Laker Girls. Her love for hip-hop led to touring gigs with Prince, Brandy and the rock band Offspring.
Perhaps it is Bloodgood's striking ethnic mix of Korean, Dutch and Irish beauty that bedazzled many photographers who encouraged her to expand her outlets of expression and pursue modeling. A trip to New York proved to be lucrative, where she found herself modeling for cosmetic giants Revlon, L'Oreal and Avon.
Bloodgood then returned to Los Angeles where a casting director spotted her and asked her to audition for "Just Shoot Me." Since then, she's worked on some of the best TV programs including "CSI" and "Monk." She has also worked with big-time film directors in TV pilots such as James Foley for "Hollywood Division," and John Stockwell for "Rocky Point." DreamWorks' "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton" was her feature-film debut as she played opposite Kate Bosworth, Topher Grace, and Josh Duhamel of NBC's "Las Vegas." She also starred with Ashton Kutcher in Disney's "A Lot Like Love."
Bloodgood was born in Anaheim, California to to an American father of Dutch and Irish descent and a South Korean mother; her father was stationed in Korea when he met her mother. She currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
