Biography of Drew 32Though much of his popularity is derived from what he does in the booth, in 2007, Drew 32 gained notoriety from his live, onstage Hip Hop performances.

(4) 6/27/07 Performed for Radio Disney at the Detroit’s International Freedom Festival and Fireworks at the Hart Plaza Main Amphitheatre, Detroit, MI
(5) 7/21/07 Won Semi-final Round of Spotlight Detroit Talent Competition at 1515 Broadway, Detroit, MI
(6) 8/04/07 Won the Spotlight Detroit Teen-rap Talent Contest Final Round at the Ribs ’n Soul Fest at Detroit’s Hart Plaza ampitheater
(7) 9/1/07 Performed with the Back in the Day Band at Pontiac, Michigan’s annual Arts, Beats, and Eat’s Festival - Main Stage.
(8) 9/21/07 Performed at the Atlantis Music Convention, Atlanta, Georgia (Freesyled 1 song as a stand-in act).
(9) Attended Remix Hotel Producer Convention in Atlanta, Georgia where he met producers Scott Storch, Nitty, and Billy Hume and rapper Killer Mike
Drew 32 is a native of metro-Detroit. He began rapping at the age of 10 with his first professional recording, "Pray for Peace (We Need Love)" which was recorded at MPA Studios in Canton, Michigan. Initially influenced by rappers such as Lil’ Bow Wow and Eminem, Drew 32 began writing his own lyrics at around 11 years old. Around the same time, he began making his own beats with a very simple production software.
2007 has a been a break out time period in terms of Drew gaining experience performaning live. He has performed in intimate, competitive enviroments; before huge festival audiences; and at showcases.
