Ron Pearlman -
John Malkovich -

Peter Gabriel
Tom Waits is a God and thank you to the man who introduced me to the master one night driving me home from a date. Tori Amos, I know it's cliché but I am willing to be that predictable for such beautiful pain. Counting Crows, Adam can say some damn apt things. The Cure, it brings this crap life in to almost unbearable focus. Nina Simone, saw her before she died, I personally vote for her as the queen of soul. Peter Gabriel, I am totally willing to ride along with anyone that will take all forms of music in to themselves and make it their own.
If I only had 5 for the rest of my life (in no particular order):
Moonstruck -
50 First Dates -
Dune -
Princess Mononoke -
Fiddler on the Roof
Freely willing to admit that I am a Buffy-aholic. Anything that I can watch again and notice a completely new way that the metaphor was tweaked I dig. Also enjoyed Carnivale, but that got cancelled those bastards! Love Lost and Dirt. Ga-ga for Battlestar Gallactica - infact I think this is one of the best put together shows that I have seen in a long time.
Science Fiction mostly. I'm talking true sci-fi, which means that there should always be a pull between faith and science and the science is an essential part of the plot. I venture in to fantasy when I feel like not really thinking. For some reason in the winter I turn to the classics, last winter it was Pride & Prejudice. I have some Dickens lined up for this year. Right now I am actually reading the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan which was given to me by my aunt - the lady has good taste.
