About Me

I don't like the words soiled, moist or throbbing or any sentence with the word "panty" or "panties" in it, especially when old men say them. eww. I drink cheap wine, sometimes smoke fanci cigarettes, have a strange fascination with plaid and would one day like to write a book. I've also hit my head one too many times getting in and out of cars, which explains a lot.Words i like: illusive and alleged.I write, I pace, I re-arrange, I "get organized", I drive two hours to work everyday and eat toast for dinner.

My Interests

lately : googling awkward phrases when I should be working, nerding out, Sewing Circles and fashion inspired by Shelley Duvall ca. The Shining, picking up hobbies from my past but not actually following through with them i.e. painting, politics, yoga, history, chess-which I've actually never played before but would really like to give it a shot. Other than the intrests listed above, I also enjoy reading fashion/art/music mags, watching horror bloodbath movies, finding bloodbath art, things that go bump in the night. I collect nuns and other what nots-pics of Jesus, and religious idolatries etc. I am STILL looking for the perfect red lipstick, and I want a dog. I want a beagle. And I want her name to be Eleanor.

An American Werewolf in London, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Edward Scissorhands, Trainspotting, Velvet Goldmine. *note: they all make me cry.

Television:

Top Chef, No Reservations (cause I have a crush on Anthony Bourdain), Blow Out-the only explanation I can give for watching this show is that it's like a train wreck. It's truly horrible and Johnathan cries a lot but I just can't bring myself to change the channel. Project Runway. Duh. I'm really behind on the OC but still enjoy the program. And the box set I own...ya...I have the box set...

Books:

I'm too ADD to read. I don't know why I'm convincing myself otherwise, but I'm "reading" Hannibal Rising, my dad gave it to me cause "it's right up my alley."
