About Me
Sahara a.k.a "Tha Misses":Producer, Rapper, Actress, Musician, Motivational Speaker,Dancer and Model...
Her beauty exudes both inside and out. But don’t let it fool you. There are more layers to this bombshell than what meets the eye. She is Northeast Ohio’s sweetest bad girl! Sahara a.k.a. "Tha Misses" was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. A true Taurus, born May 3, 1988, she’s strong willed, persistent and extremely determined. Like most children growing up, Sahara had dreams of becoming a marine biologist and a veterinarian. However, one dream out shined all the rest: entertainer. Sahara has always wanted to be in entertainment. She loves performing. Sahara began singing, acting, dancing and playing the piano at the tender age of three. She attended Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts until eighth grade, where she also picked up percussion, specializing in the snare drum. She finds musical influences from every sound she hears. When writing her own music, Sahara gets her inspiration simply from the world around her. She also writes about her personal experiences. At age 19, Sahara has faced problems that most people won’t experience in a lifetime. Her brother died due to gun violence when she was six years old. In 1997, Sahara’s mother, Dr. Margo S. Prade, was murdered. She was shot six times by Sahara’s father, a former police captain in Akron, who is now serving up to a life sentence in prison. The death of her mother was devastating. Dr.Prade was very supportive of Sahara’s aspirations. After her death Sahara headed down a path of destruction, but determined not to be another statistic, Sahara ambitiously worked toward her goals. She has appeared in a number of plays, and has made an appearance in the movie Antwone Fisher. Currently, Sahara is a sophomore, Theater Performance major, at the University of Akron. In the future, she hopes to work with any artist that has talent, and wants to work with her. Sahara writes her music so that it can easily cross over into every genre. Don’t classify it as just one style; there are no limits to her musical creativity. By being the example, Sahara wants to motivate children to follow their dreams and teach them that they can do anything they put their minds to. Heading up her own production company, Sahara Productions, she is ready to take the entertainment
world by storm.
