Blue Remedy

Blue Remedy is a six piece rock band from Georgia that has been creating music together since 2006. Their influences spread across the globe and are as diverse as each of the members in the band. The group is centered around the songwriting of Kevin Regan, who decided to bring some old friends together after returning to Georgia from a two year stay in St. John (U.S. Virgin Islands) where he had been writing songs and playing solo shows during his spare time. Since the time that Blue Remedy first got together the boys have built up their own multi layered original sound to compliment Kevin's songwriting. The rhythm section keeps the songs moving with heavy bass lines, rock steady drum beats and afro-Cuban percussion. The keys bring an arsenal of sounds that include some rag time piano playing, southern influenced organs and some definite classic rock inspired ivory ticklin'. The band's songs are topped off and often brought together by the electric licks of the lead guitar which move the audiences as much as they do the rest of the guys on stage. Inspired by several different genres of music, Blue Remedy holds an original sound that creates a rock, folk vibe that is difficult to compare.In late 2007 Blue Remedy went into the studio and recorded a four song demo. The demo quickly generated attention from both record companies and fans alike. This fall the boys are taking the band to the next level by going back into the studio to finish a full length CD while hitting the road to bring their music to as many people as possible.
