About Me
From the ashes of western Pennsylvania came the band, the music; came Lost Ledny. The year 1998 marked the beginning for this band. The early years consisted of the band cranking out current grunge, alternative, and rock songs. From club to club, the name began spreading, and a following became more noticeably present. Show after show, the energy, the attitude, and integrity of Lost Ledny won them more fans stretching from all the surrounding areas.
Before the band was even aware, several years had passed, and they began packing venues full of an eager crowd. In 2002, the band recorded their full legnth album, and quickly gained support. Radio stations like 90.1 FM WIUP, 94.3 FM The Backyard Rocker, 105.9 The "X", and former 99.1 Quick Rock kept Lost Ledny in rotation as their songs continued with requests. The year 2002 also brought forth a partnership with the nations largest musical supplier, Guitar Center. In addition to that, Lost Ledny teamed up with Fifth Member Management which lead to a more professional atmosphere, which reflected well on the band, and even better on their music. The growing popularity pushed the band further and even kept the band going strong when member changes took effect.
Never being satisfied, Lost Ledny craved for more. Their partnership with Jagermeister came in 2004. Playing in a plethera of bars and clubs, Lost Ledny found this sponsoreship to be a greatly important one. Jagermeister brought so much to the table, from a great liquor, to its' notorious concerts and tours. With a Jagermeister sponsorship in tact, the band propelled themselves into the Pittsburgh semi-finals for the Zippo Hot Tour. The shows in Pittsburgh opened up several doors and brought forth a few contacts. One of those contacts resulted in another sponsorship from Dirtbag Clothing. The opprotunity to be with Dirtbag alongside Damage Plan, Shadows Fall, Chimaira, and others was a huge boost for the band.
Time continued and Lost Ledny pressed on and persisted on working harder and harder to reach new levels and goals. 2005 brought just that. The band travelled to Geneva, Ohio to share the stage with Mushroomhead, and later in the year, opened up for Jimmie's Chicken Shack at the second annual Too Loud Festival. Already having brought so much, 2005's prosperity continued into 2006 with new endorsements from Rockstar Energy Drink, Coffin Case, In Tune Guitar Picks, Los Cabos Drumsticks, and Curt Mangan Strings. These partnerships have resulted in positive and exciting things for the band. Nearing the end of 2006, Lost Ledny was added to a date on the JAGERMEISTER MUSIC TOUR featuring Mushroomhead, SOiL, Brand New Sin, and The Autumn Offering. That was followed by a mini weekend tour in North Carolina in early December highlighted by a show with Powerman 5000. Having a taste of "the big time", the band is left with a strong desire for more in 2007.
Lost Ledny is a notorious name in the region and the band continues churning out more and more material. Now focussing strongly on harder rock, and metal music, Lost Ledny insists on playing louder, harder, and better with every show. The desire to push on, and grow is evident in this line up. The band has a strong mentality that is leading to a more direct and intricate sound to their music. You can tell on stage at a Lost Ledny show that their performance comes from the heart and the band, as a whole, lives to entertain with their music. The band has had the opportunity to grace many of the industries larger stages including Mr. Small's Theatre (Pittsburgh, PA), The Cove Niteclub (Geneva,OH), and Warsaw (Brooklyn, NY). The only thing in between Lost Ledny and their next goal of progression is only time. The drive, heart, and devotion of this band allows them to conquer whatever their sites are set on.
