About Me

And it continues...I just celebrated my 2 year anniversary of being i Davis about a month ago. Its pretty bizarre that I have been out here for so long. I am trying to enjoy the high-life of grad school - working on my masters degree. Not too shabby, get paid to study, and enjoy the blistering cold winters and mild summers of Northern California. Well, you cant win everything. Currently, I am writing my thesis, which really equates to me just sitting on my ass and looking at a computer screen.I do science for a hobby, live as a career.Dont do much out here. Occasionally i get out into the real world and force myself up to a point about 12,000 feet above sea level. I just joined the triathlon team here at Davis to try and get in shape for mountain climbing. However, now it takes all of my time as a ride, swim, and run a rediculous amount. Well, life rocks....... with that, i'm out!

My Interests

I think i am going to climb more mountains. Drinking all night then wondering why in the hell i cant get up the next morning. I like hangovers, but hate drinking, or is that the other way around. Yelling music and banging on tables as i am musically untalented. Trying to play poker. Hanging out with the good ol´boys

I'd like to meet:

People. Lemurians...especially the small winged female types that flitter around and glow tennis ball green.

Music:

Particulars: 311, Sublime, Jack Johnson, Marley, Salmonella Dub. General likes: Country, Rock, reggae, latin, electronica, some jazz...

Movies:

Band of Brothers, shrek (both), indiana jones, rocky (especially 4 where he kicks the shit out of the drugged up russian).

Television:

My new house doesnt really have a TV so i go and bother other people to watch TV.

Books:

Still enjoy Salinger, hemmingway. havent read much fun stuff lately, but i could tell you fun science filled bed-time stories. Current read: "Beyong Courage: The journey of Lewis and Clark" or something like that by Stephen Ambrose.

Heroes:

my dad, people who realize how important and short life is.

My Blog

My socialist coworker....
