i am a 25 year old female. born and raised in chicago's southwest suburbs. i am mexican , german and irish . i don't pretend to be someone i'm not. i love my family . i am a daddy's little girl and mama's little bitch... lol she would agree. my family is a mix between george lopez and the osbornes. we are so entertaining that people ask why we haven't talked to anyone about our own family reality show. lmao!! i love my friends . as i get older i have picked up on the task of letting go. don't get me wrong, i enjoy the good, but always know the end of it is coming sooner than later.
i have 2 german shepherds. they are my babies!! they are as entertaining as they are obnoxious! dakota is 3 and alexis is going to be 2 in december. they fight like human brother and sister - i swear!
i am usually independent - i consider myself still independent although life changing things have happened in this last year that my family has helped me out tremendously. i have been told by people that i have an old soul.
i am a tad dramatic. i love to talk and as my old neighbor/babysitter reminded me one night at the bar - since i could talk everyone thought i would be the next oprah. i don't have to be the center of attention. however, your attention will gravitate towards me. it happens.
i have many pet peeves. in time you will find out all of them - the main ones i will say something outloud about: open mouth chewers, i hate wet socks on my feet - it makes me want to vomit in my mouth, bad ass kids they need to get hit - forget effin timeouts - crack em!, my own windshield wipers - if i shut off the car they have to be down. i will not get out of my car until they are all the way down. there are so many more... lol
i blog. all the time. all my feelings. i usually don't name names. however, it has gotten me in tangled web when people figure out it is about them. i can't help it. it is my page. it is there for me to do with it what i will. if you feel it shouldn't be in public you shouldn't do things that embarass you. typically, i vent on my page. i do share other things, but it's my online journal - if i feel it is that terrible i will make it completely private, but if there are no names - no harm, no foul.
moving on... i love being in a relationship (again, while it is good lol). i am a romantic. i am currently single and i do enjoy singledom. it's a freedom like no other. it's still nice to have that one single, special person to call and tell them all you want is a hug and movie and they do just that.
i am recently graduated from Everest College Medical Assistant program. i do not plan ..ping there. it is just my stepping stone on very long journey for a career in healthcare. i have a tough decision - do i go for nursing or do i go for radiology... right now i am just going for a job. but it is a constant in my life as far as thinking about what i want to be doing later.
other tidbits about me - i don't really grow eyebrows. just in case for those of you who were ignorantly (in the true sense of the word) wondering - i have a non-serious skin condition keratosis pilaris - i can't grow them and along with that, my face always looks flushed - barely noticable with makeup. so, no i didn't wax or SHAVE them off. yes, i do draw them on. no, i don't use a stencil. it is all freehand. i am talented in that sense. i am overweight (fluffy, squishy, thick, healthy, etc.)- that fact alone i am not proud of. yet, i have learned to embrace myself with how i am and who i am. i make jokes about it, because if i don't, you will. i think it's funny that the first words of anger out a person's mouth when i piss them off is to use the "f-word" against me. sweetheart, i don't need you to tell me i am big. you are only stating the obvious ;) i have a confidence in myself that others only wish they had...people hear me say things about it and they get that look of disgust or shock. "don't say that about yourself." why not? it's not a secret.
on that note, i'm gonna leave it at that... if i think of more i will add to it... but i think you get the point :)
