Sometimes the storms of life come and strip away all you thought you ever wanted, to reveal, as the sun climbs from behind the dark clouds, that the only things left are the only things you truly need. Based out of South Carolina, Within the Red's journey is one centered often times in struggles, pain, restoration and new beginnings...faith to leave their own plans behind to follow the dreams of a God who's proven faithful over and over again...the result...a progressive, acoustic rock blend with a unique edge, emerging from a heart refined by the fire of an awesome God who loves and carries us through anything.
Being blessed with the opportunities to open for amazing groups such as Building 429, DecembeRadio, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sanctus Real, The Afters, and Candace Cameron Bure ("DJ" from the tv show, Full House), as well as being chosen to be World Vision Artist Associates like Third Day and Casting Crowns, God is opening doors and the guys of WTR (Shawn Bilton - Lead Vocals/Guitar, Jerry Lawson - Bass/BGV's, Dan Scott - Lead Guitar, Matt Duncan - Drums) are truly passionate and excited about the future. Their lives and ministry are a tapestry of Grace that shines through each song, and their passion lies in sharing the message of life through this music with a world that desperately longs for something more...His Name is Jesus.

I recently received a copy of Shawn Bilton’s work and must say I was extremely impressed with his voice. His music has a deep sense of emotion and a unique sound that seems to creep into one’s soul.
“Within the Red” has been slowly gaining popularity in Belize. “Nothing More Than Everything” entered into Belize Christian Network’s Top Ten Countdown two weeks after debuting. The track is steadily working its way to the top and receiving rave reviews from Belizean listeners both Secular and Christian!
“Glorious” another powerful track, exhibits Shawn’s intoxicating voice and has now been wooing Belizean audiences off their feet. This song has the potential to go all the way to the top of the charts.
