About Me

"Why Circular Boys Eat Locoweed" is the most recent addition to the "Catcher-in-the-Rye/Separate-Peace" coming of age cannon. It chronicles the turbulent adolescence of one Clyde Mortiz, a precocious young boy who has been uprooted from his Los Angeles home and forced to live in the financially and culturally impoverished world of Camden, NJ. Found hithchiking through West Virginia by the elliptical Megan Composki, the seventeen year old Clyde is AWOL from Camden's mental institution. Under Megan's oddly maternal guidance, Clyde embarks on a chemically-induced journey into his past. The "defeated" Clyde emerges from the woods and tells "defeater" Clyde, our narrator, all that he has missed while dabbling in the "world of primeval neurotransmitters." Clyde relives all of the teenagerly pitfalls leading up to his admittance to the hospital and gains insight not only into himself, but into human nature at large. "Why Circular Boys Eat Locoweed" investigates why underlying, intuitive feelings still survive under the oppressive circularity of tranistory human institutions, but it more than anything else, it is a story of love. This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5

My Interests

Beyond our narrator's insatiable lust for supple young boys, he suffers from the same inate desire to be loved, accepted and part of something larger than the mere self that everyone does.
