Movies:

Too many. The Heart is Deceitful, or Le Livre du Jeremy, as the French inexplicably call it (though now it's just fiction...and kitsch), Waters, Almodovar. Gilliam. Kubrick, mostly. Loved Blade Runner, but i'm a geek. Geek movies: Lord of tha Rings trilogy, Dumb & Dumber, Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore (but not any subsequent Sandler vehicles...well, maybe for Punch Drunk Love. But not really.). Amelie. The Apartment, starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Christopher Guest. Super Size Me, Outfoxed, any lefty muckrakers. Oldboy, Korean Action in general. Stephen Chow movies (PISSING BEEF BALLS--for those in the know), Bruce Lee, most kung-fu stuff. I love Pixar movies, but I won't admit to it at first.

Television:

Aqua Motherfucking Teen, Wonder Showzen, The Daily Show, the hilarious Canada-ripping, bear-hating Colbert Report, Pimp My Ride, Paula Deen's Home Cookin', AZN and Imaginasian networks, The Simpsons (still), Family Guy ("It must be my birthday"), American Dad (better, lately), the MacNeill Lehrer Newshour, Democracy Now!, Chappelle's Show R.I.P., BBC America, Curb Your Enthusiasm (though it makes me writhe in anxiety), The Boondocks--Jesus. i watch too much fucking television.

Books:

The Odyssey and the Iliad. Herman Hesse. William Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Rudy Rucker, Burroughs and most beats, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk (mostly), Vonnegut (mostly), Palast, Chomsky, Naomi Watts, and all the muckrakers, Orwell (times 1.4), JD Salinger, Doug Adams, Margaret Atwood, Hunter, David Sedaris, Will Self (though he makes me queasy like Ellis, only more british), Doug Coupland, Harper's Magazine, Stay Free! magazine, Vice magazine, Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes, Doonesbury, all Berkeley Breathed, Zippy the Pinhead. Jared Diamond. Mary Roach. Trust me, I'm well-read.

Heroes:

Reed, of course, but I'm a little biased. And she ordered me to consider her my "hero". Also, everyone who works for a goddamned living; I don't consider day-trading or anything that just moves money around "work", exactly.

I edited my profile with THE POWER OF SATAN !
