Solquest - Fiare Vechi, V
Il progetto HysM? nasce inizialmente con una forma musicale, più precisamente come un duo di improvvisazione rumoristica e sperimentale partorito dalla voglia di "cazzeggiare con gli oggetti e con i suoni" al fine di costruire una musica particolare e colorata, lontana da quello che si ascolta usualmente in giro.
I creatori del progetto sono Stefano Spataro (Solquest, Ada-Nuki) e Jacopo Fiore (Dardo Chalet). La resa musicale si basa sulla fusione di sonorità provenienti da strumenti convenzionali quali la batteria (Jacopo), il basso (Stefano), tastiere, sintetizzatori e loop (entrambi) che si fondono al particolare impiego di oggetti di uso comune, quotidiano unito a campionature. Da ciò prende forma un intreccio di suoni distorti, acidi, onirici, e pur rimanendo formalmente un duo, il progetto è aperto a collaborazioni e influenze esterne, di altri musicisti, o meglio di altri artisti in genere.
L'idea con il tempo si è trasformata ed allargata fino alla decisione di creare un "catalogo" musicale che raccogliesse le produzione sia del duo con le sue diverse collaborazioni, sia dei vari progetti a cui i due componenti aderiscono.
Quindi, essendo tutt'altro che una etichetta, Hysm? è (o meglio vuole essere) un raccoglitore di musica, della cosìddetta musica "underground" che ha poco spazio nella diffusione odierna, ma che ha un numero enorme di ascoltatori.
Tutto ciò che sarà parte del catalogo HYsM?, infatti, sarà in un formato "popolare" e verrà diffuso a prezzi davvero popolari (se non alcune volte addirittura gratuitamente) attraverso cd-r, musicassette, o free-download.

The HysM? project initially starts as a form of music, played by a duet, characterised by its noisy and experimental improvisation, born by the will to “mess around with objects and soundsâ€, and finishing to build a particularly colourful music, very much different from that which is usually listened around.
The creators of the project are Stefano Spataro (Solquest, Ada-Nuki) and Jacopo Fiore (Dardo Chalet). The musical performance grounds on the fusion of sounds made by conventional instruments – like the drums (Jacopo), the bass guitar (Stefano), the keyboard, the synthesizer and the loop station (both of them) – which find themselves established over the use of common objects or the sampling of everyday sounds. From this rises an intrication of distorted acid hallucinating sounds. The project, even if formally is still a duet, is open to outside collaborations or influences, of other musicians or even of other artists generally speaking.
In time, the idea has transformed and developed up to the decision to create a musical “catalogue†which should collect not only the productions of the duet with its collaborations, but also several projects that the two components adhere to.
Therefore, being something else than a label, HysM? is (or at least wants to be) a gatherer of music, the so-called “underground†music which has little space in the current diffusion, but which has a great number of listeners.
Everything that will be a part of the HysM? catalogue will indeed be in a “popular†format and will be widespread at actually very popular prices (if not sometimes even for free) through CD-R, cassettes, or free-download.
