Being the "ONLY Jew" in a family of Christians i definitely
have FOUGHT TO BE MYSELF. I go about everything the WRONG WAY and SUCCEED because it is the "RIGHT WAY FOR ME"! They love Church and I love Chinese food. They're always smiling and i'm always depressed. But i'm HAPPY. And i'm the most POSITIVE , high energy, depressed person you've ever met. I told you, i do everything my way? even DEPRESSION.
Why not? I got a degree in Accounting and then turned down a prestigious job with Price Waterhouse to follow my dream and become a comedian. I've headlined all over the country, was a regular at the Los Angeles Improv, even headlined Carolines.
I even got to "NOT BEHAVE" on NBC on their TV show Dare to Dream 2002 where my NOT BEHAVING humor
earned me flirtatious eyes from Miss America who was on the show with me.
I've cracked jokes and cooked with Bobby Flay on his show HOT OFF THE GRILL on the Food Network and i stole the date on the TV show BLIND DATE when they came to DANGERFIELD'S Comedy Club in NYC. I definitely DIDN'T BEHAVE on that TV show!
I can be serious too. I was on the CBS Sunday Evening News performing and talking about Bob Hope on his 100th birthday. Another comedian Chris Rock was asked to be on the segment also.
My MOVIE I WROTE and DIRECTED called GET THE SCRIPT TO WOODY ALLEN was an ACADEMY AWARD CONSIDEREE and WON
Best Short Film in the Long Island Film Festival in 2003.
You might have seen it if you flew Northwest and Continental Airlines where it was featured or in movie theaters around the country where it opened for major films. It tells the story of a nerdy guy, who lives at home with his mother and thinks if he can get a script to Woody Allen and Woody makes it girls , fame , everything will come to him. I wrote this movie to show how people think one obsessive gesture is going to change their lives when in reality...see the movie, you'll find out!
