Lil FreshLil Fresh was born July 6, 1988, in Honolulu Hawaii. As Johnnie Richardson grew up in Long Island New York he was always in to music. He started to play the drums when he was 3 years old. Influences that he has in his life are Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Jay-Z, Kayne West, and many more. He moved to Charlotte North Carolina at the end of June in 1997, were he really started to play the drums even more. He started to play the drums in the church in 1998 at Weeping Willow A.M.E. Zion Church. At the age of 15 Johnnie started to write songs in his spear time. He started to listen to other music artists to see how he wanted his style to be. Another one of his biggest influence in his life is his uncle, Thomas Lytell, who is the Vice President of Def Jam Records for promotions. What he tells Johnnie is to always be his self when he is given special opportunities in his life. In the year of 2004 he got hooked up with William Walker A.K.A. Christopher M. At this time Johnnie knew that he was really about move along with his dream for being in the music industry. He started to record at the age of 16 with William; he learned a whole lot on how to record, and how Johnnie should approach a song when he is recording. The first song that Lil Fresh recoded was a song called Eastside Floetry. After he recorded that song he started to record even more songs like, Nobody Like You, No Games, So Fresh, and many more. After that him and William started a group called Zone Starz Entertainment, but they still did there own songs on the side. Johnnie has performed in front of large crowds, and that is when he had performances playing the drums. So has for him performing in front of people is not a big thing to him. Also in the spring of 2007 Johnnie will be attending Winston Salem State University, and he will be studying Mass Communications to learn more about recording and studio quality. I know for myself that Johnnie has a love for music. Now as for him getting better in his music he has teamed up with his cousin which is one of Knock Out Entertainment big producer Shaun Kowlessar (SK). And since Lil Fresh Hooked up with him he has learned even more to get better in his music. So now hes moving forward and taking one step at a time to make his dream come true to be in the music industry, along with Christopher M and the Zone Starz click.
