Zone Starz Entertainment was established April 15, 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina by Chris M. Founding member Chris M, has his mind set on what he want to accomplish in life. His purpose is to inspire people all over the world to love and enjoy his music and to allow his dynamic voice to be heard by becoming a major influence in the world of entertainment. “Making music that I love and enjoy, with the support of my fans, is what I strive to obtain.†Zone Starz Entertainment has expanded its brand, music, and exposure in the past two years by dropping mixtape cds and promoting unique sound in the southeast. Since April 2005, Zone Starz Entertainment has produced hit after hit grabbing the attention of new fans and those in the entertainment industry. This talent has led to collaborations with producers such as J. Bras, of Charlotte, N.C., and S.K., of Los Angeles, California. They have also worked and collaborated with mainstream R&B artist Ray J who has become a major fan and supporter of their music. Hits like “For The Loversâ€, “I Don’t Want to Stop,†and “Nobody Like Me,†have hit the top 10 charts on MySpace for independent artists. Chris M is a motivated young man who is eager and ready to let his voice be heard. Even though his main focus is hip-hop and R&B, Chris has a passion, desire, and love for all types of music. This love for music will lead to the expansion of Zone Starz to open up as a label which will include artists from all styles that will continue to make music that people love to listen to, let voices be heard, and accomplish every goal in the music business. CHRIS M "THE FUTURE"
Born June 22, 1983, in the small city of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Chris M was a very curious child. Listening to the sounds of such artists as James Brown, Sam Cooke, and Marvin Gaye, became a valuable tool in building his style. Chris M moved to Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of seven. In 1995, Chris M began writing songs when he was approached by the father of one of his long-time friends, Donald Wright. When he was asked to write his first song he wrote three songs that same night. Mr. Wright was so impressed with Chris M's talent and perseverance that he told him he would like the opportunity to help him mold his skills. He began to listen to artist such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur along with various other genres of music, ranging from Jazz to Rock. Chris prided himself with his amazingly versatile style. He had many performances in his area and shocked many. People wondered how a person of such a young age could make music that could reach people two to three times his age. It was said that if you were to just sit and listen to one of his songs, you could feel the hunger that he has. Chris himself said, “For the love of music, I will do anything, because it's me and it's all I have. It's my means of escaping reality It’s the window into my life." Now that Chris has spent years honing his skills with various street hits, Such as "Ride" and "Danger" under his belt. He is now ready to enter the industry and bring about a change. Forming Zone Starz Entertainment in 2005, and now collaborating with various artist and producers across the southern region there is no way that he can lose! In the words of Chris M, "We here Now.
