doing things in pairs....like riding a two seater bicycle. touching other people's feet with my feet. sunsets. the sound of my friend's laughs in my head. Prague. succulents and other native californian plant life. D C G chord progressions. breakfast outside.
Tom Waits...Gram Parsons...Oscar Wilde...the doctor who delivered me...Lance Armstrong...Bruce Springsteen...Jesus...an elephant...the man who invented the fudgecicle.

I enjoy many movies. Basically, if i am involved, moved, entertained.....if my thought process is provoked, interrupted, encouraged...then i like it. I do not enjoy movies that patronize or assault....i like to be given a bit of room to figure it out for myself. a few: Pi, Amelie, all the Alien movies, The Seven Samuari, Contact, any Wes Anderson film....but i especially like The Royal Tenenbaums, Harlod and Maude, Lost in Translation...or, really anything that Bill Murray does, Old School, Eternal Sunshine...,Where the Buffalo Roam, Hellboy, When Harry Met Sally, Heathers, Beatlejuice, tons of cheesy romantic comedies (i can't freggin' help it!), Blade Runner...and so many more i just can't think of....
survivor man, good eats, random comedy central movies, sealab, NOW, Grey's Anatomy... for now.
lots of cultural anthropology articles for the time being...my favorite book is the Awakening by Kate Chopin and the Lord of the Flies. Also, the People's History of the United States and Buddism, plain and simple. To add: The curious incident of the dog in the night....totally wonderful! Ask the Dust...changed my summer.
