("HANDLET" The Story of an Emotionally Tormented Hand), showers, naps, babble, salty-dogs, cocktails with lime wheel garnishes, sleeping in, sheets with high thread counts, down comforters, cuddling, snuggling into the crook of a neck, building forts, sunday crossword puzzles with john and anna, ebay, yoga, forcing myself to the gym with promises of massages and new pairs of shoes, all things comedy, laughter, upright citizens brigade, staying up waaaaaaay past my bedtime, cussing like a sailor, trees, flowers, dresses, sparkling water, the sea, otters, london, seattle, nyc, WET, yellow mustard, polska kielbasa, vanilla yami yogurt, knocking things over, bruises, spilling on myself...all of the effing time, being honest with myself even when it becomes really difficult, staying focused, grounding myself, finding balance, moderation, keeping an eye on the prize, discipline, hand-stands and cartwheels, jumping into piles of autumn leaves (i've never actually done it...but it sounds like a good time), woolly scarves and mittens, catching snowflakes on my tongue, rolling down hills, trampolines, white cake with buttercream frosting, pinatas, november 11th, marya sea kaminski, old souls, morning walks and evening strolls, alone time, wandering aimlessly, getting lost, changing my mind, diverting off paths, learning how to say no to things that i don't really believe in, wearing the pants, curiosity, gourmet cooking, baking, intimate dinner parties, scrabble, pyrex storable containers, knives, picnics in central park, monday night movie night in bryant park, candles, m-80's and produce (together), mischief, sparklers, singing songs and not really knowing all of the correct words, improvising, drinking a bottle of wine and watching "grey gardens", reevaluating, procrastinating, learning how to invest, discovering the art of budgeting, travel, dream therapy, dancing in gay bars, impressing people with my vast knowledge of early hip hop and the fact that i have stored within my memory every single lyric of every R&B song made between the years 1970-1997, creating, collaborating, the east coast seattle mafia, my friends, my family, tera patrick, patp ('01-'06) truly listening, questions, humility, patience, hope, never throwing in the towel (which has, at times, proven itself to be an unhealthy characteristic), knowing that no matter how hard i try, i still can't stop myself from being honest with people about exactly what it is that i think...and, believe you me, i have been punished for it...many a time, threatening the pursuit of a clinical psychology phD on the days that i'm convinced art is dead, dreams of africa and of joining the peace corp, becoming ok with not knowing what will happen next, crossing fingers, wishes, possibilities, optimism, learning lessons, perfecting the art of saying good-bye, letting go, growing up, present tenses...
