About Me

Being a native of Southern California, musician/songwriter/composer, Brian Jordan delivers his sultry sound to audiences around the world with a unique flair.
For over seven years Brian has laid down the funk as guitarist with the band, "Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe". He has also performed and recorded with Grammy Award winning artist, Lauryn Hill and appeared numerous times with the house band on the NBC television show, “Last Call with Carson Daly. Other projects that Brian has been associated with include "Blu Sirkut", “Banyan” which features drummer Stephen Perkins of Janes Addiction and the “The Motherlode Band”. Brian has also performed in projects with Zigaboo Modeliste of the The Meters, Greg Errico and Cynthia Robinson of Sly and the Family Stone and Bernie Worrell of Parliament/Funkadelic/Talking Heads. Brian has also shared the stage and swapped licks with many luminaries such as James Brown, Dave Mathews, Lenny Kravitz, Bob Weir, "The Allman Brothers Band", Fred Wesley, and Dr. Lonnie Smith.
As a recording and performing artist Brian exhibits a diverse array of influences while honing in on his own style. His sound recalls elements of classic to modern American musical flavors, World music consciousness, and 100% Soul!
