Maggot Infested

Maggot Infested started out around 2000 as a 2 man recording only project called Maggot Infested Aborted Fetus with Pipp and Goat as members,2001 we picked up Postulio on guitar/bass and MyKill on additional vox making it a four peice live project.At that point we changed our name again to Self Inflicted Shotgun Wound.In 2003 we lost the other 2 members and once again became a 2 man project this time under another new name Maggot Infested.MI released a demo/EP and put it out on the underground DIY label Infected Fetus Records entitled Aborted Fetus . 2006, MI have reemerged once again with a new more intricate sound (along with better quality)and another lineup change.Goat completely took the band over along with ex-bandmate from Nonexsistant(RIP) and Deadlife(RIP) DIEsel,(DIEsel has begun his own solo project called DIVIDE AND CONQUER check that shit out!). MI is a mix of gore/noise/grind/death and experimental,and YES MI USEs VOCAL EFFECTS AND MEAN TO SOUND THE WAY IT DOES !!! Heavlily influenced by B-rated horror,Itailian gore, horror flicks and mass murders. Maggot Infested is a recording only project (NO LIVE SHOWS) and will more than likely stay that way.Maggot Infested is what it is, just a project in sickness..This is not for everyone!Feel free to leave a hateful comment . P.S. (For smartasses) We are NOT straight edge , even though the url is xmaggotinfestedx , maggotinfested was already taken. I see now I really should have used something else but Im not going to start fucking up banner links and such just because some happy fuck may think MI is straight edge. Labeling your talent according to your lack of drug preference is fucking retarded anyway!
