This band started out three years ago with Alec(drums) and Kevin(guitar), both former members of Klought. Kyle joined shortly, adding on as second guitarist. A few months later, Dustin, a friend of the band stopped by Alec's house to check out the band's rehearsal. He then decided to pick up the mic and start fooling around with vocals, and everyone liked what they heard. So Dustin filled the position and Dyscrasy was formed. Now, all they needed was a bassist. Jay was last to join, four months after Dustin, and the band is finally complete. Practicing almost every day, they prepared themselves for a show at the Whisky a Gogo which they played only two months after the band has been completed. And played well they did, even after Kyle's departure. For the next 18 months, they continued to be active, playing any show they were offered ... despite heavy challenges they encountered.
November, 2003, the band decided to take a little break after Dustin left to go to Florida. Alec settled himself at work, Jay did his EMT school, and Kevin focused on his last year of High School. March 2004, Alec, Kevin and Jay all get together to start writing new material, and they have made plans for a bright future. Now, Dyscrasy is better than ever. Experimenting with a different feel, the band still manages to keep its root sound, but leans more towards the aggressive side. They are currently looking for a singer that will compliment the sound and add new ideas.
