About Me

"Casket Climber Insect God" is a music video short film I made in between jobs in the fall of 2005. The film was made to honor the late Keith Orzech, member of the NJ Grindcore Band Kage Bunshin who had died earlier that year. "Casket Climber Insect God" began as a small experimental cracked out puppet show shot on my dining room table and grew to become an internationally acclaimed, award winning short that was seen at various pretigious film festivals. It was the opening film at the NYC Horror Film Festival October 2006, it won 2 awards at the Action On Film International Film Festival, won a people's choice award at the Night Gallery Film Festival (A festival that toured across the United States, Canada and New Zealand), screened at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival, Microcinefest in Baltimore and even aired on The Independent Film Channel (IFC) and MTVU (MTV's college TV affiliate). So much for such a small film. I can honestly say that the journey of making the film, submitting it to festivals and promoting it was one of the best experiences of my life to date. I'm very proud of this film and I hope that you enjoy it.
