Some time in the late 20th century, in a small town in upstate New York, Matt was a college student more interested in programming synthesizers than studying chemistry. It wasn’t long before he realized something was missing - vocals. Along came Jim. Years of singing Erasure tunes to his cat had finally paid off! Realizing there's safety in numbers, they immediately recruited Marco, a friend of Matt's from electronic music class. It wasn't long before the trio’s live synthpop band brought fresh electronic sounds to a scene previously dominated by the same old guitar rock.
After college, the three moved back home to The Big Apple. Add John, Marco's high school bandmate, and you've got The New 25. Fast forward several years through on-again off-again projects and studio sessions and we have the New York City-based quartet working together full tilt.
