The two words combine to Create musical content, and when you throw fashion in the mix as a form of expression...You have "Wordplay Essentials" which brings the love of music to life!
Wordplay Essentials was started out of a love for music, and to
provide a creative outlook for fashionable ideas. No longer trying to
compete in a market already saturated by "The Glitz" we have found
through life....that there is something greater than just trying to
come out with the next best thing. Lessons in life often allow for
change...a change for the better! The world is much bigger than just
trying to sale a dope shirt, and look fly....believe me, there's
nothing wrong with looking fly, but you gotta have purpose...
Recently touched by the events currently taking place in the world we live
in; to speak of "Genocide" the current state of Darfur, this is
something that "WE" can't sit back and watch happen, and instead of
just talking about it, and saying "I'mma do something" I found a way
in which "WE" can actually help, and that way is to help in the
process of continuing to raise awareness for the people of
Darfur. So with help from friends we've designed the "Music for Life"
T-shirt in which 100% of the proceeds go to a reputable organization
to help put an end to the Genocide...SAVE DARFUR COALITION(Check top 8), although I know it takes more than
money and awareness to end what's going on, at least something's being
done, and people aren't being forgotten.
I'm really pushing for black folks, white folks, hispanic folks...any nationality of folks; which includes the rest of the
world; to get involved on some level, i'm not saying you have to be a
mega-activist, all i'm saying is know about it...know what's going on
in the world that God has given us, this Genocide shouldn't be taking
place at all, but it is. We should talk about it, as opposed to
shutting it out and saying it's not our problem...'cause it really is
our problem. Just let it be known, that God has put each of us here
for a reason, and that reason is to live!!! Live amongst each other,
live with each other, this world is Gods gift to us, and so is
everything in it. We really need to start respecting ourselves and
each other a lot more than we do!
Wordplay Essentials was created for people who love music, and has a
purpose as well.That purpose is to help "Raise the levels of
awareness, through music and fashion" It's so much better to know
what's going on around you, than to be oblivious to it, or to want to be oblivious to it!
