Already at the age of 17 years DJ Monopark from Regensburg, by name Christoph Hecht, looked up to famous DJs like Monika Kruse etcetera. In 2002 he finally decided that he not only want to listen to Technomusic but also make and play it by himselve so that he bought his first DJ equipment.
His enthusiasm for the music and for the special feeling increased day by day.
Also in 2002, at the period of time when he was Resident at the Alcatraz, Landshut, he became acquainted with Gianni Giavi who is also known as Radikal-Dee.
Controlled and supported by the experienced hand of Radikal-Dee, Monopark learned much faster important things about the artistry of DJing. After one year they both were in progress to get a DJ-team of the upper class in complete Bavaria! It followed bookings in Clubs and discotheques like “A9†in Bayreuth, “Arenapark" in Nabburg and “Nightpalace†in Nuremberg.
2 years after this mostly successful time, Radikal-Dee moved away from Regensburg and wanted to find his Luck in Cologne. A hard kick for our joungster who had to go for himself now. In any case he still wanted to make music and a short period of time later he sat up again and was more motivated than any time before!
After that he often went to Munich to celebrate in the legendary Harry Klein Club. There as a guest he gets known to the bookingchief Peter Paul Flamming. Proximate there followed bookings for the “Harry Klein Club†and for another Club called Registration in Munich.
Confident of his thought to make the electro-scene of his hometown Regensburg happy with his music, Monopark moved up to the eventorganizer Robert Rizzi (Ponyhof Productions) to talk about his chances to play at one of Robert Rizzis´ two projects called Bavarian Pony Night and Pirates of the Electronic Sea. At first in vain but finally at an afterhour-party it came nevertheless to a verbal exchange between them. They agreed on a demo mix. Only 4 weeks after this conversation Monopark was going to play his first afterhour for the Ponyhof right after the primetime with Frank Lorber (Cocoon FFM). The partypeople from Regensburg were caught of guard when they heared DJ Monopark playing his sound!
After this there were bookings together with Codec & Flexor, Gregor Tresher and Dr.Motte.
Now as a Resident DJ of the Ponyhof Productions Monopark tries to make people as often as possible happy and satisfied!
