Matze Bäßler

Hello, my name is Matthias "Matze" Baessler. Born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1977. Started playing drums at the age of 8. My first TV-Performance (ZDF) as a drummer was at the age of 12. I Studied drums at "Drummer..s Focus" in Stuttgart by Andreas Witte. I played many Concerts in Europe (most of them in Germany). Nominated for the German Rock & Pop award 2000. Drumlessons by Carl Palmer. I also played lots of musicals like "Lion King", "Mama Mia", "Starlight Express", "Tanz der Vampire", "Tabaluga", "Tabaluga und Lilly", "Rocky Horror Show", "Little shop of Horrors"..and many more.
Winner of the "Tamburo" Drumcontest. Drumworkshops at many Musicschools. Played in different Rock-, Jazz-, Pop-, Funk - Bands. I work as a drumteacher since 1997.
I opened my own Musicschool called "Musikschule Bäßler" in 2006. Supportact for the Band "Tokyo Dragons" (England) with the band "Subzero". Performed with "Ben Bledsoe" (Ex - Natural). Performed at the biggest drumfestival in south germany called the "Ludwigsburger Trommeltage" in 2006 and 2007.
The next albumreleases will be with my Funk/Rock Trio called "Me, Myself & I", and with a brandnew German Rockband (more details coming soon).
I spend a lot of time in the studio right now to record lots of different music with different artists in different styles.
