Music plays a big part in my life. I play bass nearly exclusively finger-style (plectrums are heresy, but I'll forgive you). I mainly play a fretless bass, though I have a nice fretted ESP 5 string for transcribing and stuff. Fretted basses have their uses too! ;) Most of the time I listen to metal in various forms, particularly death and 70's/80's metal, though I am not closed minded. I like organic music, as in instruments being played by people, electronic stuff really does very little for me with the exception of a few industrial bands.
