About Me

Hey. I'm constantly evolving. I'm stubborn but reasonable. I'm generous with my heart but intuitively watchful. I'm a sucker for a good love story. I like red wine, mostly Shiraz, Pinot Noir, or Cab Sav's....no white wines, though. And, I like most of my wines from Australia. I am an existentialist. I believe humankind is naturally good, and equally, naturally evil. I love just-out-of-the-oven chocolate-chip cookies, but not once they are cooled and definitely not any packaged chocolate-chip cookies. I believe that if gay marriage seriously threatens traditional marriages then gay marriage is not the problem. Penguins are my favorite animals. I'm passionate. I think the establishment of social, physical and ethical norms has stunted our growth by equating "normal" to moral superiority, leaving everything else abnormal, immoral and inferior. In 2000, I graduated from Oglethorpe University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science. This was a six and a half-year feat because I was a non-traditional student. I was a single mom and worked full-time while going to school. I earned my MBA last year from at Mercer University and I'm finally working in a field I love--film. I work at IMAGE Film & Video and we present The Atlanta Film Festival. We also have a screenplay competition, a 50-hour film making competition and we provide workshops to the community on all aspects of film making, including acting and directing.

My Interests

Funny Stuff:
Music. Movies. Learning new things. I'm interested in what motivates people.

I wonder:

  • why people eat Heinz 57 with expensive steaks--c'mon, you could order the cheapest piece of meat on the menu and dip it in Heinz 57 and it'd taste exactly the same as filet mignon dipped in Heinz 57

  • why people continued to use chopsticks after the advent of forks

  • why some people can't look at a key and instantly deduce the way it fits into the keyhole they're about to insert it in

  • why some people don't think sarcasm is humorous

  • why American companies don't focus on customer service the way most foreign companies do

  • why some people chew food and gum with their mouths open

  • why it's become common practice for people not to hold themselves accountable for their own actions/reactions

  • why we can't end world hunger--especially since it would be so easy, if it only costs something like $0.27 per day, if each company earning more than $25 million in profit gave $500,000 per year for world hunger it would more than pay for it

  • why a God would make it physically possible for girls to get pregnant sometimes as young as nine years old

  • what justifies something as worthy of worship

  • if animals know they are going to die one day

  • why colleges and universities hire teachers that can't teach

  • why Paris Hilton is alive

  • why I like fruit but I don't eat a lot of it

  • we haven't figured out some accurate and equal way to vote regardless of our location

  • why some people are idiots

  • I'd like to meet:
