=======My name is Amanda and i am 25 years old. I am Native American (Lumbee and cherokee tribe).
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. My family is from North Carolina, so i was raised there a little too. I have been married to my God givin soul mate for almost 4 years. We meet in church, as we both are born again christians,serving our lord Jesus christ. We were married on July 9,2004. Right now we don't have any kids but one day we would like to have some. I have been a recovering addict since August 10,2003. It has been a long hard road to travel and a lot of tears were shed along the way. I am just now starting to get my life back on track. But thank God i am here today to start over. A lot of addicts don't get that chance so i am truly blessed. I have been through a lot but i am determined not to let it get me down,even though at one time it did. You know life always has a way of putting us on our backs in order to force us to look up. All i can do is take one day at a time or even some days one second at a time. I am a outgoing,easy person to
get along with, who loves to laugh every chance i get. I like ALL types of people and i accept them for who they are. One thing i try not to do is judge people. After all who am i to judge? I am not God!!! Not to mention I know my hands aren't clean and i certainly am NOT perfect. I also haven't forgotten the terrible place where i came from. I am not foolish enough to think that i can't go back. Sadly there are those people who think that their "poop" don't stink and that just makes me sick. Those are the only types of people i don't get along with. I have loved and lost many people who i was close to and i have learned not to take people for granted. I used to think to myself there is always tomorrow but you know what life is raw and unscripted and tomorrow isn't promised. So always give that last kiss,hug or i love you even if you are mad. Life is too short. I am a compassionate person and i love to help people any way i can. Every chance i get i like to tell people my story hoping it will one day save someone's life. I was once one of those people who was depressed and truly gave up on life. I did any drug that i could get my hands on -ecstacy,coke,special k,weed,alcohol(and yes alcohol is a drug),shrooms,acid,oxycontin,percocet,oxycodone,vicodin, zanex and God knows what else i did while i was high. I pretty much had a death wish and my wish was about to come true(thank god it didn't). Well i guess that is it. As you can tell my life is an open book so if you want to know anything else just ask.===============
