ITS A FEELING can't beat this

About Me

A huge THANKS to all those who helped us take out1st place in Canterbury for stage one in KFC's band competition "Sounds From Your Hometown". YOUR support in the form of each daily vote @ Amplifier.co.nz, opened our way to stage two. Here we were given yet another chance to impress the judges by playing live upstairs at our local KFC - Colombo Street (CBD). We had so much fun! Cheers to the crowd that bravely came down despite the wet stormy weather. Unfortunately we just recieved news that we are not the winner of the final prize pack. The Steve Parr Slide however wish the winners best of luck for their future!
Band Bio: Since forming on the first day of last spring, four piece 100% KIWI indie pop/rockers The Steve Parr Slide
have lifted the lid off all expectations and stirred an air
of anticipation.
With Thomas Coffey's destinctive rock vocals, poetic lyrical miracles & sparkling acoustic guitar, fused with Simon Tester's mellifluous tones and driving lead guitar, Anton Dalmau's mood-boosting bass lines and the finely articulated grooves of Benjamin Trower on drums; The Steve Parr Slide demonstrate that they are without a doubt "a force to be reckoned with!"

Drawing on personal experiences to create jubilant anthems encoded with surprisingly honest truths, the passionate voice of The Steve Parr Slide hope to etch their fervour in the hearts of their audience.

'Sale of the Century' fans and eighties game show aficionados everywhere... "Let’s go shopping!"
