About Me

Intraverse comprise of four young, highly talented musicians who bring together in their music a unique blend of raw rock driven by funk grooves and twisted ambience, an abundance of passion, energy and charisma. The result is one of the most truly entertaining performances you're ever likely to see, with the catchy songs to boot.
An exciting new year lies ahead in 2008 after the transitions of the last. New management and a brand guitarist. Intraverse are a band hungry for success.
The last year has seen impressive achievements, most notably featuring on champions of quality new music, Huw Stephens, and Steve Lamacq’s BBC Radio 1 shows. In fact the connection doesn’t end there, as the band recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios, and their last 3 track EP was produced by David Hentschel & Nick Moroch (Elton John, Missy Elliot, David Bowie).
The festival season sees Intraverse at their very best, with previous bookings at major slots such as Guilfest and in 2007 this was no different where they played to over 10,000 people, including a headline slot at their home town Music on the Meadow.
Regulars of the important London & Brighton circuits over the years, performances have included – Fighting Cocks, Purple Turtle, Garage, Dublin Castle, Hope and Anchor, Camden Underworld, Shepherds Bush Walkabout; Engine Rooms, Pressure Point, Freebutt, Concorde II, University SU. Support slots have also included Buzzcocks, The Others, Ripchord, Mumm-ra, Squeeze, and Gary Moore
Intraverse were also handpicked to appear at the 2,500 attended FX Awards Grosvener House, Park Lane, presented by Ardal O’Hanlon. Intraverse have been regulars at the NME awards for the last three years running.
With such an impressive CV behind them it is perhaps so strange that the boys from the quiet village of Mayfield, Sussex aren’t house hold names by now. Well the year ahead will see all that start to change. Intraverse are upon us.
