Si Senorita is a refreshing blend of reggae, blues and rock - performing ORIGINAL music that is generating quite a buzz in the Philadelphia music scene. Their fans enjoy dancing, singing along, and and making every show energetic. What is most amazing is how well they grab the attention of new listeners and make a musical connection with them. Based in Montgomery County (suburb of Philadelphia, PA), they are quickly growing to become one of the areas top original bands. They began playing together at an open mic that current band members Mike Garrity and Justin Dietrich co-ran at Finn McCool’s Tavern (Hatfield, PA) at which time Mike Clemmer joined. They got their first paying gig at the Bell House (now called Rising Sun Inn) in Telford PA and from there began playing all the local bars. They recorded "El Demo" which was release in July 2005, selling the better part of 1000 copies in a matter of months! Brian Motz left the band in April 2006 at which time they added their current drummer Matt Stumpf. You can often catch them playing at bars/clubs in the greater Philadelphia area, but they are currently venturing out to tackle a wider audience and larger venues.Si Senorita has played and headlined well-known Philly music venues such as the Trocadero Theater, World Cafe Live, Grape Street, and The Khyber. Several of thier shows have been in connection with Philly radio stations such as 88.5 WXPN, and 93.3 WMMR. They were written up in Philadelphia's PLAY Magazine for a full-page, color feature in the April, 2007 issue. Si Senorita is proud of the fact that they do their own booking, promoting and merchandising. They have completed their first tour (Florida) spring, 2006 with unbelievable responses! Some Florida venues included Freebird Live (Jacksonville Beach), Alligator Alley (Ft. Lauderdale), and Flavour Nite Club (Miami). The released their debut album, "Hightimes, Hangovers, and Harmonies" which was released Feburary 2008 under TriTonix Recording’s Label which they promoted on their second tour of Florida. The future is looking good for Si Senorita, and with the support of their fans they can continue to achieve great things and spread their unique style of "suburbanreggaeblues."
