I don't pop collas, don't ask me to holla.

About Me

Well, I'm twenty-seven, married, a painter by day, and a hip-hop producer at heart. Born and raised in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, my obsession with music started at an early age. My main musical influence as a child was my grandmother, who exposed me to classical music. Also, my older sister had me listening to Steely Dan, Little Feat, and other classic rock bands before I knew how to use a toilet. Around the age of 7 or 8 I took up my first instrument, the oboe (laugh all you want!), which I practiced for about 5 years. In the mid-nineties, I was heavily influenced by the Wu-Tang Clan, and began making mix-tapes. After High School, I attended Bucks County Community College where I studied MIDI recording, jazz piano, and sound engineering. I started making beats in 1999, when I was affiliated with an underground Philly rap group called The Raw Deal. There were some talented emcees in the group, but unfortunately personal and creative conflict caused us to disband. In 2001, while living in Philly, I landed a job with Electric Factory Concerts as a security guard. I worked there (and just about every other venue in the city) for two years as a stagehand, production runner, and security guard. One of the highlights from my experience with the Electric Factory was getting to meet the group that changed it all... The Wu. In fact, I actually got to drive the RZA to the venue from his hotel, which was awesome. Unfortunately, the lifestyle that I was living downtown was very unhealthy and catching up with me, so I decided to quit the music business and move home. Later in 2003, I met a beautiful young woman named Christine, and we were married October 29th, 2006. Also in 2006, I finally completed "Demolition!", my first professionally produced, arranged, and mixed album. It only runs around 25 minutes and has twenty-five tracks. In early 2007 I completed "The Raw Deal Instrumentals", a compilation of 15 of the best Raw Deal tracks that I could dig up. I am currently working on a project called "Fragments of Forever", which should be completed in early 2008. My main reason for setting up this Myspace page was to find work as a producer. So if anyone out there is interested, has a question, wants to give me a job, or wants to use a beat, please contact me.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
