About Me

Dominion, or Prefect Dominion as his official Aspis rank denotes was at one time leader of the Serehniyan Alliance’s powerful military machine, the Aspis Guard. An advanced mobile and highly skilled army, the Aspis Guard’s single mission was the protection of countless star systems and individual worlds threatened throughout the known cosmos from the Mal’Gulrath.Unlike most of his Aspis brethren, Dominion’s extraordinary abilities, with the exception of a genetically manipulated age deceleration process which essentially makes him, to some extent immortal, were achieved through intense training and the single-mindedness to be the perfect bio-warrior. In his quest for perfection, Dominion would spend countless years scouring the interstellar pathways in pursuit of military stratagem and physical perfection, eventually mastering countless fighting styles and techniques. During his galaxy spanning sojourn to “unify his mind, body and spirit”, he found himself face to face with the worst of what the Serehniyan pathways had to offer including cannibals, fanatical religious cults that worshipped death and mutilation, the Technarc Imperium and the “Plague of Amheh”, a dreaded disease that made its host hunger for the spinal fluid of most humanoid and terran species. He would briefly settle down on the planet of Mardebotaca, a planet sought and visited by many primarily for its rare and valuable minerals, as well as its mind-altering and equally intoxicating water supply. It was here where he would become one of Mardebotaca’s Axiom Legionnaires making a living the only way he knew how… by way of the sword. During his tour as Mardebotaca’s head Legionnaire, he heard of a rumor, a legend really, of a powerful warrior by the name of E’Kul Nah. Dominion spent a great number of years in search of E’kul Nah, who was believed to be the last known survivor and king of a simian-like race known as the Qwophan, and whose exploits and reputation as a warrior without equal were thought to be the tales of legend. Once located, Dominion spent an even greater number of years under Nah’s personal tutelage and scrutiny, mastering the Kundith-ki art of fighting or the “unyeilding staff or sword”, a fighting style created by E’kul Nah himself. Because of this incessant pursuit to be the best, Dominion would, himself, become a warrior without equal. His tactical know how and strategic prowess - unmatched. He would quickly become the greatest warrior and more importantly, the greatest leader the ranks of the Aspis Guard had ever or would ever come to know. But despite all of his training, nothing could prepare Dominion for what he would soon face while on a lone rescue mission. Inadvertently, Dominion would become the single living witness in the known universe to have barely survived the full might of the Mal’Gulrath war-king, Minshu’kai, personally. After a near fatal defeat at the hands of the Mal’Gul war-king, Minshu’kai, and having to deal with his own sense of mortality, Dominion would drift off into a self-imposed exile and disappear from Aspis service for more than two years, leaving his legion of Aspis warriors in the hands of a Sar warrior named Phaten, Dominion’s closest competitor among the thousands of Serehniyan warriors. It would be this encounter and the events preceding his mission that would be the source to which Dominion would give up his rank and withdraw into a self imposed exile for over two earth years. His exile, however, would be short lived as the Serehniyan Alliance would once again call upon his extraordinary abilities for a mission of the utmost priority. It is this mission that would send Dominion off to a small, inhabited planet called Earth on a journey he would never return from – a journey that will begin a new chapter in the life of the Aspis Guardian’s most celebrated leader and hero.

Movies:

Star Wars saga, Batman Begins, Afro Samurai, Gravion, a ton of anime, The Story Of Riki-OH, Escape From New York (any John Carpenter), The Big Lebowski, Borat, most Kevin Smith stuff, Godzilla (love the Toho stuff, hated the Tristar movie though), alot of Kaiju; War of The Gargantuas, etc., Dead Alive, Dawn of the Dead, really most Zombie flicks, Shawshank Redemption (Why is it whenever it's on I have to watch it), Nacho Libre, Tenacious D, The Warriors, Team America: World Police, V for Vendetta.

Television:

Most 80's cartoons, Family Guy, Futurama, The Office, Heroes, Seinfeld, Battlestar, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, My Name is Earl, Battlestar Galactica, South Park, Who Wants To Be A Superhero, Chappelle's Show, and a show no one ever seems to talk about... How I Met Your Mother.

Books:

I don't read books without pictures so I'll give you my comics weekly pull list; The Walking Dead, Avengers, 52, Return of the Super Pimps, Silent Assassin, Sinestro Corps, used to like to the X-men but the little corner of the marvel universe that is occupied by mutants is almost unbarable to read anymore. For books more than 32 pages, I dig the Star Wars Extended Universe and the Harry Potter series.

Heroes:

Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, George Lucas, Doctor Doom (making the world a safer place whether you want it or not), and the guy who invented duct tape.
