About Me

The Rebel Yell is a band made up of former Hampton Roads bands Red Admiral and Rose Hollow. The band was initially a recording project by Kevin Haggerty (vocals, guitar), but expanded in 2005 when Tim Gault (drums) joined the fold. John Dixon (lead guitar) was added to the lineup in 2006 to round things out. The Rebel Yell is influenced by other bands such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Sunny Day Real Estate, Radiohead and Silverchair, yet they manage to create a sound that is completely unique and their own. Look for this band to follow in the footsteps of Kenna (Columbia Records) and Mae (Tooth & Nail) in becoming the next big thing to come out of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
