About Me

I'm a writer. I'm an actor. I'm a singer. I'm a dancer. I'm a Midwestern Girl.
Most often, I'm a writer.
You can read some of my short stories above in the blogs; I'm published in "Split: Stories from A Generation Raised on Divorce."
And you can read, "Making Lemonade: Bittersweet Tales From An Actress Being Squeezed in LA" at www.impeppur.blogspot.com.
Also:
I created "Harlem's Night Cabaret" featuring The Brown Betties & Joe in 2005.
This sultry, sassy, sophisticated bedtime story tells the tale of a woman looking for love in all the wrong places and stars myself, Keena Ferguson, Danielle Lewis and Christy Gamble as the Brown Betties.

Come meet me in:

"Harlem's Night...Giving Cabaret A Story"Our next show: MAY 27 & JUNE 24 2007 @ EL CID in LA
4212 Sunset Blvd
LA 90028

Harlem's Night
debuted August 2005 and we're still going strong! It's a great show and not just because I wrote it. :)

I'd like to meet:

A Lady's Man:
When I was a little girl, she said
Always be a Lady
Keep your heart open
But keep your legs closed
And Lord knows, you'll be blessed with a Lady's Man

A Lady's Man, who treats you right
A Lady's Man, makes you his wife
A Lady's Man, loves you and your baby
She said, Baby...Always be a Lady

Well, Well, Well
I've been a Good Girl all my life
A Lady's Man
Hasn't treated me right
I'm lonely now,
An only now,
Couldn't a Bad Boy be nice??

Bad Boy
Come and play with me
Bad Boy
Show me your bad toys
Bad Boy
You're no good for me
Bad Boy
Let me show you how bad I can be......

Music:

If you love music, you'll love Harlem's Night...Hear jazz classics from Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Art Pepper, Louis Jordan and ... myself.

I have two songs in the show, "Hey Joe" which you are listening to right now. It's a sultry call to a guy to bring back his "lovin'" to my house. "Hey Joe" is produced by Chandlar (www.myspace.com/iamchandlar)...Also included in Harlem's Night Cabaret is an updated jazz/hip hop/soul remake of the classic, "Fever" produced by Niari. Yummy.

Intruder...Chapter 5

As Harlem moved through the crowd like the movie star she'd always felt she was, she ran her hand along her thigh, across her round-about bum (as she'd heard the British say) and caressed the small of...

Iced Ruby....Chapter 1

She sl-o-w-ly stained her lips with another coat of her new lipstick: Iced Ruby Red. It made her voluptuous pout even poutier and that thrilled her in places she hadn't been thrilled lately. She press...
