Mountain Town Moonshiners

In the morning!!!!

About Me

Formed in January 2005, the Mountain Town Moonshiners (Moonshiners for short) have been playing regularly in the Michigan area. With a mix of traditonal bluegrass tunes and a strong emphasis on original material they have been gathering a steady fanbase around the state and play anywhere from coffee houses to festivals to random outdoor locations. With a cast of characters that has many different musical backgrounds and a sense of humor, their live shows always bring smiles to the faces of both the musicians and audience.
CURRENTLY - The Mountain Town Moonshiners are on an indefinite hiatus. We have parted on the best of terms as each member is going off to persue other goals and interests. It's hard to be in a band when each musician is in a different part of the country. We hope to still play again, but cannot say when that will happen. In the mean time, we just want to say a huge Thank You to all who have come out to hear us and supported us for our efforts. Many great times were shared by all, and we're glad to have been part of something so positive. Take care everyone.
