Den Elliott Photography

I am a documentary/portrait photographer based in the south-west of England. I have studied & practiced photography for over eight years, and attended Falmouth College of Arts where i was awarded a B.A honours degree in photography in 2006. Much of my work to date has consisted of self-motivated personal projects, but i am now also moving into more commercial fields of photography. I photograph people, places & events, including live gigs/publicity shots for bands, and publicity photography for commercial/charity organisations amongst other subjects.Both slideshows below are selected images from self-directed projects undertaken as part of my degree. The first slideshow is a collection of images which document life on a housing estate in Somerset. (Third year work: 2005-2006) The second slideshow is an exploration of a pier in the winter, portraying large empty spaces & isolated human figures far removed from the syereotypes of seaside tourism on which it thrives.
