Carl Kolchak

I've seen more dead bodies than you've had TV dinners . . . .

About Me

I'm an investigative reporter for the Independent News Service in Chicago. Unfortunately, I have a first-rate knack for seeking out the truth, no matter how unlikely it might be. More often than not, the truth proves to be positively bizarre: Vampires, Indian spirits, werewolves, vengeful Greek goddesses, robots, reptiles and even space aliens often turn out to be the culprits I’ve uncovered.
People Kolchak works with:
TONY VINCHENZO
Occupation: Chief Editor for the Independent News Service
Character Description: The character of Tony Vinchenzo was an antagonist character in the series. Somewhat like the X-File's Skinner, Vinchenzo was not an evil character at heart, but his work hindered Kolchak and his investigations. The Vinchenzo character hardly ever left the office, but besides Carl himself, he was probably one of the most widely seen and recognizable characters in the series.
EMILY COWLES
Occupation: Writer of the "Miss Emily" column of the Independent News Service.
Character Description: Emily's character was a "confidante". Kolchak trusted her, and through his conversations with her we find out more about each episode and about Kolchak himself.
Ron Updyke
Occupation: Writer of the society column of the Independent News Service.
Character Description: Updyke was neither an antagonist nor a helpful friend of Kolchak's, just a pain in Kolchak's ass.
