Born on the 7th of October in 1978, A life signed from the beginning by a lot of travels all around the world. That because of the work of his father that made his family move for short/long periods and made him experience the continuous contact with other coulters and languages and the constant new adaptation to them. Since he was four the family travelled first to Austria(Vienna) where he leaved for two years. Then to Asia(Tokyo) where he leaved for tree and half years stabile alternate with short periods leaving in U.S.A. Santa Fe (New Mexico); Santa Monica(California) and other short periods again in China and in Thailand. He began studying music in Tokyo at the age of six for one year he studied the piano and have studied the normal flute since he was five years old. The constant travels haven’t gave him the possibility to have a continuous music education. Anyway he continued practice by his own.. The experience in Asia and the lots of moves left him probably other things that all his music speaks abought. “Travelling is the most direct way to begin talking with our selves. A constant esoteric practice. In Japan I’ve seen beauty coming out from simplicity and have seen the power of silence. When I write music I’m always searching for essential…real meaning.†He begin studying seriously music at the age of nineteen in fact from the beginning also if he was already playing in several situations. But he didn’t know exactly how neither was he able to read music. He studied for tree years in Milano with Paolo Tomelleri Jazz musician and one with M.Roasen and at the age of 27 he get into the Civica Jazz school of Milano directed by Enrico Intra. He studied Harmony with Gabriele Comelio; Theory and jazz practice with Marco Vaggi and Franco Cerri; instrument with Mauro Negri. As he says:†trying to get back the lost time†The determination of the artist moved by the consciousness of the talent in writing music. And the willingness to understand and to make more comfortable what he has almost always done. “….writing music for me is something like catching a mood an atmosphere a sensation an image and picture it....†“….It’s a physical question of sensibility and a human necessity to express what I see in the way that I think it can get in touch with our deepness….†He has written several albums under his name: H. In Spring Time(piano solo) Reflected through the shades. The Time Line(Jimuna jazz quartet) And as a performer improviser he has experienced also different kind of situations working with contemporary dancers and accompanying actors. Today Luca plays with several groups: Trio LSC. double-bass-sax-guitar Jimuna jazz Quartet sax-drums-guitar-doublebass Trio Libra. Voice-guitar and sax. And teaches as a dancer Argentinean Tango.
