About Me

I guess I'll start off with the obvious, I'm a huge dork. I'm pretty laid back, play a lot of video games, watch a lot of movies and/or tv shows gone to dvd... When not being a geek, I'm a professional ballet and contemporary dancer in Toronto, Ontario. I left home when I was 13 to go to professional ballet school. Home is technically St. John's, Newfoundland (don't lie, none of you know where it is.) I'm of Irish descent-hence the very pale skin- but I often get pegged for being Greek or Italian. My parents are divorced and remarried. My mom is a nurse, Dad's in the military. I have a younger brother, and two younger half sisters, one 7 and one not even two months. I've been dancing for 17 years. I am a huge sports fan, I love going to hockey, basketball, and baseball games. I love kids, and I'm really good with them. I have A.D.D. and have a very hard time focusing unless its something I really enjoy, so I often do 3 or 4 things at once to keep myself occupied. Besides dancing I paint/ draw, kick ass at video games (specifically the Nintendo/ Sega genesis era'd games), use "your mom" jokes at the wrong time intentionally (side note, I know its horrible but I find dead baby jokes funny...), and take pictures. I speed read, unless its a really boring book in which case I fall asleep. Not a joke. I become a narcoleptic if a book is not interesting. Probably why it took me 4 years to get through the driver's handbook, and why I only got the first part of my license last year... I also skin small dogs to make coats in my spare time. Thats a lie. My Interests

Dance, Music, Art, Yoga, Reading, Random, Dirty, or highly inappropriate humor, Ping Pong (I'm pretty much the ping pong champion of the world), Hockey (Leafs fan, I was raised that way, its not a choice) People falling down or running into shit, Charades, I'm really good at guessing correctly. Oldschool video game consoles such as nintendo, sega, or N64, which might I add I would kick anyone of your asses in at Golden Eye or Wave Race. New game consoles, such as WII or Guitar Hero which I am absolutely terrible at. Green tea. Poker (Texas Hold Em'), Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy, laughing at other people's expense, or myself, and MUSIC.

Anne Boelyn, except she was beheaded quite some time ago. The girls from TATU. You know that'd be a good time... Anyone that is driven, and funny, and intelligent!

I like a lot of music. I own a guitar and pretend I know how to play. My dream instrument would be drums. I don't watch much tv, mostly only sports, but when I do watch it I love Family Guy, Arrested Development, The Office (British and American), Little Britain, Smack the Pony, 30 Rock, Trailer Park Boys, The Colbert Report, The Tudors, Rome, The Hour, Robot Chicken, and Jeopardy.

Books:

Catcher in the Rye, Blink, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, The Royal Family, Memoires of a Geisha, The Da Vinci Code, To Kill a Mocking Bird, This All Happened, Myths to Live By, Anything Shakespeare...Anything by Douglas Copeland or Chuck Palahniuk... I also plan on writing a book someday, it's going to be called "You're Reading a Nobody's Life Story" it's going to be a best seller, and one of Oprah's picks for her book club. Keep an eye out.
