Ernst is from the mountainous wilds of the north east U.S., one of the Saco River People. He grew up on the Dead Kennedys, The Feederz, and dry toast. Starting his musical adventures with The Flying Buttresses(Newport,RI) in 1987, he dove headlong into the likes of The Slags and Angus Ferruel(with G.Scorpian of Bosola and Andy Bernick of The Swirlies) then headed to NYC where in '92 he did a 2 year stint with Molotov Cocktail (bass on Jerks In Progress, A.T. records) in a time when as he descrides..."We stood out, had a unique sound to the East Village scene" and toured the U.S., France, Deutchland, and Switzerland. He went on to sonic fury of League of the Divine Wind(again w/G.Scorpian and many other notables) and the amazing but short(..er than it should've been!) lived Glass Pants with G.Scorpian and Tickrangler who went onto international fame in Bosola. In the last 6 years, EH has been working on his own material and helping the "youngin's" to realize their dreams as a recording engineer, but says "the call of the road is getting strong....." EH was once quoted as saying "I think I'm the only one I know who really does dream of being on the road in a beat-up old van playing shows, not knowing where you are, for months on end..."
