ObenO is the electronic part of Benoît. He was raised in Lyon. At the end of his teens he started to get interested in Techno and Electronic music. Thanks to The Magazine Trax he discovered a part of electronic music he didn’t knew. Air,massive Attack, the trip hop, the French filtered house, the big beat, drum and bass, ninja Tune, minimal, ….but almost the music from Warp were revelations to him. He has began to do music all alone in year 2001 by using weird samples in cheap tracks. In 2004 he publied his first demo called “ les gens jolis”. In Paris he met Marc who influences him to get a stronger and powerfull sound. They founded the band “No more Cab” and make tracks under the influences of Detroit and Berlin. Now he’s back in Grenoble…
