About Me

And Now, The Usual Getting-To-Know-Me Chatter
How shall I break it down, ye olde Pro's and Con's? Well then, why not:Pro's:
I do my very, very best to treat others as I'd like to be treated, always. I'm affectionate, I'm giggly, I doodle a-plenty, I talk to myself all day long but in different accents (as to throw myself off, that's right), I sing at the top of my lungs in the car, I'm a fast learner (though there's a downside--see "Con's"), I'm moderately intelligent, mildly attractive, and quietly kinky. (*Note to reader: I've recently deduced that I possess a somewhat addicting personality, quiet though I may be.)Con's:
I'm painfully shy, I'm terribly uncomfortable in a kitchen, I'm oftentimes too clingy, I'm a fast forgetter (seriously, you could teach me how to play a game that I end up adoring, but next time we play you'd have to teach me all over again), and I possess an irrational fear of sharks.Take It As You Will's:
I love horror novels, old movies, radio theatre, strawberry-flavored Quik, 80s music, video games, Harry Potter, sketching, writing, blogging, reading, graveyards, late-night Wal-Mart sprees, making my friends smile, making up stories for my daughter, chatting with squirrels, going to new places, and doing new things.

My Interests

See "About Me" subcategory "Take It As You Will's"

Movies:

I instantly love anything ridiculously bizarre, outlandishly tacky, simultaneously sweet and sour, dark and creepy-eepy, deliciously cruel, musical (!), and of course, anything that dances before/dazzles/delights my eyes. A few I want to give special attention to would be:Moulin Rouge, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amelie, À La Folie... Pas Du Tout (He Loves Me He Loves Me Not), City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, Down With Love, Labyrinth, Edward Scissorhands, The Princess Bride, The Wizard of Oz, Return to Oz, Legend, Romeo + Juliet, Sin City, Life Is Beautiful, The Cook the Thief his Wife and her Lover, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, The Lost Boys, Heathers, Four Rooms, Seeing Other People, Cecil B. Demented, Office Space, Ghost World, Empire Records, But I'm a Cheerleader, Drop-Dead Gorgeous, Jawbreaker, Reservoir Dogs, Napoleon Dynamite, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (hehehehe), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Billy Elliot, O Brother Where Art Thou?, The Ladykillers, The Shape of Things, Rules of Attraction, Cruel Intentions, Mallrats, Clerks, Hackers, Dark City, The Matrix, Haute Tension, Night of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead, A Clockwork Orange, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Neverending Story, The Muppet Movie, Muppets In Manhattan, Pretty In Pink, The Wedding Singer, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Vibes, Earth Girls Are Easy, So I Married An Axe Murderer, Pump Up The Volume, Mermaids, Torch Song Trilogy, The Ice Storm, The Green Mile, Fried Green Tomatoes, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shock Treatment, those goddamn Lord of the Rings movies, of FUCKING course the Harry Potter movies, The Emperor's New Groove, The Lion King, those fucking Revenge of The Nerds movies, Pillow Talk, The Uninvited, The Ghostbreakers, Murder By Death, Abbott and Costello movies, Bob Hope movies, Notorious, Sunset Boulevard, Marnie, Rope, Vertigo, Rear Window, It Happened One Night, and a lot more...

Television:

Ranma 1/2, The Kids In The Hall, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Simpsons, Lost, Will and Grace, Sex In The City, Queer As Folk, The Tick, Carnivale, The X-Files, Invader Zim, A & E Biography, Seinfeld, Tales From The Crypt, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek: TNG, and I'm sure NO ONE remembers the short-lived VR5... I dunno... those were the days I had cable, anywho....

Books:

I re-read a lot of the same schtuff I've loved since I was a kiddo... Little Women, The Secret Garden, and so on. Old kidsy books put me in a happy place. I love Amy Tan's books, Orson Scott Card's Ender series, the Gryphon and Sabine series, Piers Anthony is kinda silly and fun, Stephen King supplies me with guilty pleasure, The Harry Potter books rock my world (now that J.K. Rowling's stopped smokin' the crack...a.k.a. Book 5), and I've started reading Chuck Pahlahniuk and now I'm craving a new book like whoa. Also, I've discovered a smart, embittered, gifted writer chick named A.M. Holmes that has me quite intrigued at the moment.

Heroes:

Anthony William Seals (please see my Top 8 and follow his profile link to learn more about the world's BEST big brother)
