----------Many years ago, deep down within an eternal musical womb, a sphere of talent was found marching to the rhythm of her mother’s heartbeat. Lurking in the Carolinian woods, you’ll find the timber of the tall pines, Carolinian Idol Madame Timberly~K. She was determined to pursue a career path in music and entertainment just as other family members had done before her. ------------------------------------------------------------ Timberly~K learned to read and write music at an early age. Growing up in the house with a deacon and a minister of music, she had no choice but to become involved with the church’s music department. “When I say my mother had me doing everything, I mean just that! I sang on the choir, directed a couple songs, played the piano, drum set, bongos, tambourine, cabassa, bass guitar, and alto saxophone! I appreciate the experience because if it wasn't for my family, I wouldn't be the outstanding musician I am today!” ------------------------------------------------------------ Over the years, she has toured with numerous ensembles and has collaborated with various producers and recording artists along the East Coast, and has participated in many Art Festivals in the south. You may know Timberly~K from the musical “I Sing From My Soul.” You may have even caught her in action at one of many venues like The EndZone, Tempos Entertainment Complex, Dock Street Theatre, Studio 74, Sterrit Hall, or even at the Queen City African-American Cultural Center.
