Affter waking up one morning getting ready to take the exit exam at Memorial High School in Port Arthur Texas. You would think a normal kid would be studying for the test to make sure he/she graduate. Well Glancy a class clown/musician tried singing in class to make the class laugh and it turned out from most of the class that he has an very rich mellow voice. From that they he started grabbing more fans from his singing while joking at the sametime.Glancy never knew he could sing when I asked him at the interview in Beaumont Tx July 2009 before auditioning to go to the American Idol.Although Glancy didnt make the finals but Glancy came in the top three percent in Texas before getting disqualified in the semifinals. Two years before that Glancy earned his spot in a rep yo city tour,where Glancy was the lead singer of the Temptation and Dru Hill act. Later on in October of 2009 Glancy traveled to different poetry bars in Houston Tx where he sung and was asked to do a tribute to Lil Wayne.Not to mention Glancy was chased out the building after performing by hundreds of women."Seems like someones already an celebrity". Besides the fact that he writes (all) and produces (most of) his own material, Glancy’s pursuit of perfection and humble mentality are rare in today’s superficial music scene. He rises before the sun daily to run, workout, rehearse vocals and piano before rushing off to class. By late afternoon he’s back in the lab; where he usually spends the rest of his day, unless duty calls. Staying physically fit and drug-free helps him to maintain his focus, while drawing inspiration to keep his dream alive from legends like Babyface and R. Kelly. His, as yet untitled, debut sounds more like it was derived from divine inspiration. Joints like the sure fire dance floor igniter “It’s True”; the groovy “Thinking Bout You”; and the heartfelt “I Love You”, amongst others have made choosing a lead single has become a task in itself. Call it a gift and a curse, but any of his songs could easily be top 10 on the charts regardless of who is out.
