Hey ya'll, well I'll start with my name....Marcus (thats all u get tho...u werido stalkers loljk). I'm a Mix Show DJ on The Beat 94.5fm here in Vancouver. I was born in a little town on the north island of New Zealand called Whakatanne. I live downtown Vancouver right now, and i must say it's one of the most beautiful cities Ive ever been to!! It's got everything I need...shopping...ummm shopping...oh yea...shopping!!!! I'm a pretty active guy the likes to work out a lot and kickbox...i may look kinda badd-ass but im actually not that bad lol.Aside from DJ'n on the radio and in the clubs, I opperate a concert promotions company "4 Play Entertainment" & own my own tattoo shop called "Drop The Needle"...its located at 712 Robson street in Vancouver, and I'm also a diamond broker...so if anyone would like some custom jewlery and doesn't want to spend a ton of cash; please feel free to contact me . I've been a DJ/MC in the Lower Mainland since 1994 and have been doing radio since 1998. I've had the opprotunity to work along side some great people in the music industry such as: Ice Cube, Tha Dogg Pound, Ludacris, Ciara, Chamillionaire, Cassidy, Maestro Fresh Wes, DMX, Nelly Furtado, Da Brat, Youngbloodz, N.O.R.E, City High, Choclair, WC, Juelz Santana, The Game, Solitare, Baby Blue Sound Crew, DJ Quik, Fatman Scoop, Kelly Rowland, Tweet, Jermaine Dupris, Kardinal Offishal, Bishop, The Rascalz, Checkmate & Consice, Busta Rhymes, Coolio, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Nelly, Glenn Lewis, 3LW, Montell Jordan, Ray J, Naughty By Nature, Onyx, Sean Desman, Carl Henry, Sisqo, Hi-C, Suga Free, Snow, Wycleff Jean, Fat Joe amd i'm sure plenty others that I've forgotten.I'm pretty friggin' funny and I shower at least twice a day!! I'm real big on family....so if u come from a broken home and u hate ur parents and the rest of the world; i'm not sure if we'll get along all that well lol. I'm religious, but not to the point that i will spend my days and all my efforts preaching to people...jesus is either ur homie or he ain't (there i go with my gangsta slang again lol). If ur not, it's cool...i won't hold it against u...for now!! Im a real big sports addict too...love my Denver Bronco's (football for all u knuckleheads lol) and my Oakland A's (baseball dummies lol). Oh....actually I forgot, if u like tennis too....There's nothin better than gettin up on a nice day for a game of tennis!! I love to go to chapters sometimes and just grab a book to learn something new...I don't wanna be a "know-it-all", just wanna know a little about everything...if thats possible!! I feel very blessed that I've had the opprotunity to work in the music industry for as long as I have, whether it be in Vancouver, Seattle, L.A etc...Dj'n has been a huge part of my life and so has buisness. I will continue to run my International Concert Company (4 Play Entertainment), and work in the music industry (radio, satalite radio, nightclubs).
